It is from Kenny Gallo's site, a mob informer with the Colombo's who made a lot of money out in LA. It was taken in Otisville, which is where you go after being convicted in state and are waiting to go to federal, which makes it probably 89 or so. The blurred out guy is a Colombo family member and the other guy is Joey Ippolito. Coonan is very well respected.

He was with the Colombo's in NY and went out to work in NYC I think. He got involved with the Milano family out there, and Jimmy Caci, and was huge into the cocaine and porn business in the late 80's and early 90's. Wore a wire during the Colombo wars against Teddy Persico Jr and Luchese capo John Baudanza.

Apparently, according to his blog, he was married to porn star Tabitha Stevens. He is the real deal, and like him or hate him he calls it like it is and doesn't pretend he is anything else like some of these rats do. I read he has a book coming out in early 2009.
